MgO has stronger forces holding it together because the ions have bigger charges, so it needs more heat to melt.

Three modes
One question bank. Three different jobs.
Every answer Wantam gives is grounded in a question from the bank. The model does pedagogy — sequencing, hinting, diagnosing. It never supplies the content.

Tutor
Walks you through a past-paper question, one rung of hint at a time.
You are asked what you think first. If you are stuck, you get the smallest hint that unblocks you — not the next one down, and never the answer. Four rungs, then it stops and works through it with you.
What it will not doIt will not hand over the answer, and it will not touch a question whose diagram is missing from the bank — because it cannot see the figure either.

Marker
Marks what you actually wrote, against the official scheme, point by point.
Every awardable point is shown beside your answer in the scheme's own words, with the marks earned, half-earned or missed — and a note on what the examiner was looking for that you did not say.
What it will not doIf the bank has no scheme for a question, it says so and refuses to mark. It will never improvise a scheme to seem useful.

What we do not do
We do not redistribute past papers or marking schemes. Real papers are used internally as calibration and evaluation material — they are not the product.
Why the marking still holds
Every question in the bank carries its own scheme, written point by point in exam wording. Marking quotes that scheme verbatim, because a paraphrase is exactly how a mark gets lost.
When the model has nothing
If a question has no scheme, Wantam refuses to mark it rather than inventing one. If a figure is missing, the tutor will not pretend to see it. The refusal is the feature.
Cost
Free. All of it.
Wantam costs nothing to use and there is no version of it that costs something. A student revising for KCSE should not have to find money first, and a school should not have to choose which candidates get it.
